National Horse Protection Day is Saturday, March 1, 2025. Colorado’s Horse Protection League in Arvada will mark the occasion by opening its gates to media for an inside look at its daily efforts to protect the dignity of these historically significant equines. The Press Day will allow media opportunities to interview the officers and see our tremendous HPL volunteers in action, and, of course, to meet the horses. The event kicks off at 10 a.m. Refreshments will be served. Media can call Kerry Gleason at (303) 565-6083 to participate. Media are welcome other times throughout the year by appointment. If successful, the March 1 HPL Press Day may become an annual event.
